Slipper Chair

Another rescued item saved. Mary discovered this Slipper Chair had been well used which was indicated by the woven fabric covering over the original tapestry. Hundreds of tacks were removed in order to strip it back to the framework.

It has been remade from the webbing up, with joints being strengthened alongside some previous repairs, and the comfort of foam has been added. The hydrangea velvet has a lovely feel boasting comfort and richness.
